Hi All!

My name is Paige & I’m from outside Philadelphia in Kennett Square, PA! I will be in Rome for 6 weeks this summer studying Nutrition, and i suspect food, culture, and their related interactions will be the pervasive theme of my writing! So, as I travel the country, visit the FAO, wineries, olive oil factories, cheese factories, beautiful buildings and more, prepare to hear about (and see through video and picture) everything I experience, and a fair amount of extrapolation on what it all means in the big picture of our lives! I hope to parlay nutrition into a career in global health and international development, fighting hunger and poverty…so fair warning about hearing me relate a lot of what I experience back to issues of neocolonialism and structural violence, and I apologize in advance for using more than a few Paul Farmer references! Nonetheless, I promise my blog will be interesting, enlightened, and fun to read!
