Last night, I had my pre-departure orientation online and after coming out of that, I’m actually quite intimidated now. Everything that was said in the presentation and the pictures that were shown on the slideshow were actually a little shocking to me. I think there will be more to get used to then I originally thought. There’s only 4 more days before I officially leave U.S. soil but the school semester doesn’t actually start for me until Feb. 23th so I’m hoping the month that I have in Taiwan before school starts will help me with my Chinese review and also help me get used to things like squatting toilets. >o<
