Hey everyone!
My name is Autumn Griffin. Currently, I am a rising senior at Penn State, double majoring in English and African/African American Studies. This fall (July-November), I will be traveling to Cape Town, South Africa to fulfill my study abroad requirements for the Paterno Fellows Program.
Right now, I am in State College finishing up a research assistantship for the summer.
So…I have a little less than a month before the big trip! To be quite honest, though, I’m still not really sure how I feel about it:
Nervous?
Anxious?
Excited?
Premature homesickness?
I think it’s still kind of surreal. I can’t believe that in one short month one of my biggest dreams will be fulfilled. It’s crazy! I am so blessed to be able to have this opportunity!
