Introductory Entry

My name is Bryan Stengel. I am a Junior double majoring in Finance and Economics from Downingtown, PA and will be studying abroad in London, England through Arcadia University’s London Internship Program. I am extremely excited about this opportunity to not only learn but to work while abroad in one of the world’s largest cities.

As part of this program I will be working as an unpaid intern in London while taking classes at Arcadia University in London. I really think that this experience will be incredibly beneficial to me and presents a great opportunity to gain working experience in another country. I am looking forward to learning about the culture of the European workplace and comparing it to that of the United States.

Also while abroad I am looking forward to traveling all over London and other parts of Europe as well including Germany, France, Italy, and Spain. While in London I hope to travel to the Brittish Museum, The Tower Bridge (pictured above), and Buckingham Palace, among other places.Other sights in Europe I am excited to see include the Berlin Wall and the Leaning Tower of Pisa.

Along the way I will update you all with pictures and videos of the different sights and sounds of my experience abroad. This blog will be a learning experience for me so bear with me with the formats and such. I will be flying out on January 2nd and still have a ton of work to do to prepare to leave, hopefully I’ll have enough time to make an update before I leave. Until then,

-Bryan

    Hello Bryan!
My name is Katie Lynch, and I am a sophomore at Penn State and I’m really interested in going abroad to London and doing the internship program through Arcadia! I just wanted to know your opinion on the program and how balancing classes and the internship has been going for you. I have been unsure of which program to go through and which would best suit my needs. If you could email me or just blog again I’d really appreciate your thoughts. Thanks so much!
