Hey Charmee! I know this comment is overdue but I cannot believe your experience in London has already ended! I hope it was everything you hoped for it to be and that you made the most out of everything. I agree with you that is seems just yesterday we were all pursuing our study abroad dreams by applying, and now they are coming to an end! It really seems unreal. Have a fabulous summer and year next year at Penn State!

- STEPHANIE JEAN LAPPLE

Hey Kelly!

Your recent travels in April looked like they were very memorable and dually emotional. You really traveled to very historic places and monuments in history. I do not know if I would be able to emotionally handle all those, such as the Jewish memorial in Berlin or the concentration camp. I hope you are continuing to have a great semester!

- STEPHANIE JEAN LAPPLE

Hey devon! I was excited to see you went to London because I was just recently there as well and had a fabulous time! Especially at Abbey Road, that was so fun for me to get a Beatles picture as well. I unfortunately did not get to experience the market like you did! I wish I would have known about it because it sounded like something I would have liked. I hope you are continuing to have a great semester!!

- STEPHANIE JEAN LAPPLE

Hey Emma!

I am having fun getting caught up with your blog. I can TOTALLY understand the wifi frustration because it is the exact same with me, you are not alone. I think it is really great you have sorted out what you do and do not feel you can ever adjust to. That is a quality and realization that a lot of people will not admit to, and I am glad this experience has been beneficial for you in that aspect. Your last paragraph of overall journeys sound awesome! I am jealous and I hope you had a fabulous time in Portugal! Can't wait to hear about it. - Stephanie

- STEPHANIE JEAN LAPPLE

Hey Jason!

The experienec in Tibet sounds awesome and life changing. I actually took a Buddhism class in Ireland this semester and we learned a lot of Tibet and the culture and chaos currently residing in areas like that. It really is amazing to learn about the East and now you have up frontly experience the culture first hand. I hope it has been an awesome semester for you and that it continues to be meaningful!

How exciting!

Tibet has always been on my bucket list for YEARS and I have never got around to visit yet (even though I live in Shanghai where a Shanghai-to-Lhasa railway opened a couple of years ago).

With the altitude, harsh sunlight (you know how much Chinese folks hate sunlight!) and the stoic, Buddhist culture that prevails everyday life, Tibet sounds like a challenging place to go and is certainly not for the faint-hearted!

I might actually have to wait for a number of years because my boyfriend is interested in visiting but he always nags about not having enough money to go outside of the States anytime soon, haha.

I look forward to seeing pictures and reading about your adventures!
Beware of mountain/altitude sickness!

- Kasumi Hirokawa

Magnificent photos!

I'm glad you got to visit these historic places, especially Auschwitz.
While they may not necessarily be places to prance around taking comical pictures, but they are important reminders to ALL human beings not to make the same mistakes ever again. I would like to visit someday too.

I've never heard of Bone Chapel but it seems really cool (more like chilling, haha). It looks eerie but very beautiful in the photo.

Do you have plans to go elsewhere?

- Kasumi Hirokawa

We were just extras but it was super fun to learn some edgy choreography!
Yes, I know that East London has this BanglaCity - an area with residents of mostly Bangladeshi descent. There are lots of street art, vintage shops and places to enjoy South Asian cuisines there.

- Kasumi Hirokawa
