The Final Countdown…

Ciao amici!!! (“Hello friends” in Italian btw) This is my introductory post to the Geoblog site so I guess I should get the basics out of the way first. My name is Naeemah Amir and I will be spending the Fall 2011 semester of my fourth year studying Architecture at the Pantheon Institute in Rome, Italy!

I can’t even begin to describe how amazing this opportunity is for me as an architecture student and art enthusiast to travel to one of the most architecturally rich and historic places in the world! I can’t wait to experience all that Rome and Europe have to offer. I have visited Europe once before, Rome for only a day so I know how much there is to see and how extensive the city can be.

After a torturous two weeks of getting everything shipped off for my Visa before leaving last semester, I can proudly say it has ARRIVED!! Holding it my hands has now made this trip seem all too real!! I will be leaving in about a month and sometimes I have to pinch myself to believe this is all happening. =) I know the anticipation must be killing many of us Study Abroad bloggers so I know you guys understand what I’m talking about. So now all I have to do is wait…
And now a little video to get everyone pumped up =)
